The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has announced that the window to challenge the answer key for the Presidency University Bachelor Degree Entrance Test (PUBDET) 2024 closes today, July 22. Candidates who wish to contest any answers in the model answer key must submit their objections by midnight.
How to Challenge the Answer Key:
- Visit the Official Website: Go to wbjeeb.nic.in.
- Click on the Challenge Link: Locate and click on the link for the answer key challenge on the homepage.
- View the Answer Key: The answer key will be displayed in PDF format.
- Select Objections: Choose the answer(s) you wish to contest.
- Upload Documents and Pay Fee: Upload necessary documents to support your objection and pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 500 per question using net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
- Submit: Finalize your objection submission and download the confirmation page for your records.
Additional Details:
- Answer Key Review: After the challenge period concludes, WBJEEB will review all submitted objections and release the final answer key.
- Marking Scheme: Each correct response earns 2 marks, incorrect answers result in a deduction of 0.5 marks, and unanswered questions receive zero marks.
- Result and Counselling: The PUBDET 2024 results will be announced on the official website. The scorecards will be issued alongside the results. Following the result announcement, counselling for seat allocation based on merit will commence.
The PUBDET 2024 is conducted for admissions into B.A and B.Sc (Honours) undergraduate courses at Presidency University. Candidates who have completed or are appearing for their class 12 examinations are eligible. The exam was initially scheduled for July 27 and 28 but was rescheduled to July 6 and 7.
