The application window for the July 2024 admission cycle for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online courses at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will close today, July 31. Candidates interested in enrolling in IGNOU’s postgraduate and diploma programmes must complete their registration by the end of the day.
The original deadline for applications was June 30, but it was extended to July 15 and again to July 31 to accommodate more applicants.

- Visit the Official Website: Go to IGNOU Admission Portal.
- Access the Admissions Page: Click on the ‘July Admissions 2024’ link on the homepage.
- Select the Program: Navigate to the page for Online and ODL programmes, choose the programme that suits you, and complete the application.
- Submit Supporting Documents: Upload the required documents, including:
- Photograph (less than 100KB)
- Signature (less than 100KB)
- Educational documents (less than 200KB)
- Experience certification, if applicable (less than 200KB)
- Category certificate, if applicable (less than 200KB)
- Pay the Application Fee: Deposit the registration fee of Rs 300.
- Download and Print the Application Form: Save a copy of your application form for future reference.

Application Fee and Refund Policy
- Application Fee: Rs 300 for all UG, PG, and Diploma courses.
- Refund Policy:
- Full refund of the programme fee if the application is canceled before confirmation of admission.
- If cancellation is requested after admission confirmation, 15% of the programme fee, up to a maximum of Rs 2,000, will be deducted.
