AIIMS NORCET 7 Admit Card 2024: Important Details and Exam Guide

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi will soon release the admit card for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 7. While the exact date and time for the admit card release are yet to be announced, candidates who applied for the exam can download their hall tickets once available on the official website: aiimsexams.ac.in.

The NORCET 7 written exam is scheduled for September 15, 2024. Candidates are advised to stay updated and follow the instructions to download their admit cards.

Steps to Download AIIMS NORCET 7 Admit Card:

  1. Visit the official AIIMS website: aiimsexams.ac.in
  2. Locate the NORCET 7 Admit Card 2024 link on the homepage.
  3. Click on the link and enter your login credentials.
  4. Download the admit card once it appears in the new window.
  5. Save and print the hall ticket for future use. It will contain important details, including exam location, shifts, and other necessary information.

Age Limit for AIIMS NORCET 7

Candidates must be 18 to 30 years old to apply, with age calculated based on the application form’s closing date. Age relaxation is available based on recruitment policies for specific institutions.

Selection Process for AIIMS NORCET 7

The recruitment process will include two stages:

  • NORCET Stage 1: Preliminary test on September 15, 2024
  • NORCET Stage 2: Main exam scheduled for October 4, 2024

Candidates must clear the preliminary exam to qualify for the mains.

AIIMS NORCET 7 Paper Pattern

  • Total questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
    • 20 MCQs related to General Knowledge and Aptitude
    • 80 MCQs based on the syllabus of Nursing courses
  • Total marks: 100
  • Duration: The exam is divided into 5 sections, each lasting 18 minutes.
  • Negative marking: 1/3 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Qualifying Marks

The qualifying marks for the Stage I NORCET Preliminary exam differ based on category:

  • UR/EWS: 45 percentile
  • OBC: 40 percentile
  • SC/ST: 35 percentile

NORCET 7 Vacancy and Pay Scale

This year, 1,487 Nursing Officer posts are open for recruitment through NORCET 7. Selected candidates will be placed at Level 07 in the Pay Matrix, with a pre-revised pay scale of ₹9,300 – ₹34,800 and a Grade Pay of ₹4,600, in Group-B positions at AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS institutions.
