However, despite the high demand for government engineering colleges, only 46% of the seats have been filled after Round 2, leaving more than half of the seats vacant.
No Mop-Up Round for Bihar Engineering Colleges
In a new move by the Science and Technical Education Department, no mop-up round counselling will be conducted for admissions this year. The BCECEB has announced that the remaining vacant seats in engineering colleges will be filled by PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Math) group candidates, using a combined merit list from the BCECEB 2024.
