The University of Delhi (DU) has announced the schedule for Spot Round 1 of the seat allocation process for undergraduate programmes for the academic year 2024-25. Here’s what candidates need to know:
Schedule Overview:
- Spot Admission Application Period: September 18, 2024 (10 AM) to September 19, 2024 (11:59 PM)
- Result Announcement: September 21, 2024 (3 PM)
- Seat Acceptance Period: September 21, 2024 (3 PM) to September 22, 2024 (11:59 PM)
- Online Payment Deadline: September 24, 2024 (4:59 PM)
Eligibility:
- Who Can Apply: Candidates who applied through the Common Seat Allotment System (CSAS-UG)-2024 and have not been admitted to any college by 5 PM on September 17, 2024, are eligible for Spot Round 1.
- Application Portal: To participate, candidates must select the ‘Spot Admission’ option through their dashboard at https://ugadmission.uod.ac.in/.
Important Details:
- Seat Allocation: Candidates will be allocated seats based on available programme-college combinations, and the allocations will be visible on September 21.
- Acceptance: Candidates must accept their allocated seat by September 22, 2024. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of their eligibility for admission to DU and exclusion from the CSAS-UG 2024 process.
- Payment: The online payment to secure the allocated seat must be completed by September 24, 2024.
- No Upgrades: There will be no options for seat upgrades or withdrawals during the Spot Admission rounds. The seat allocated in this round will be final.
Additional Notes:
- Dashboard Lock: The dashboards of all admitted candidates will be set to freeze mode after 5 PM on September 17, 2024. No changes or withdrawals will be allowed after this time.
