NEET MDS 2024: Revised Qualifying Cut-Off Announced

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has recently announced a reduction in the qualifying cut-off for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2024. The revised cut-off marks for various categories are as follows:

  • General and EWS Categories: Reduced from 50 percentile to 28.308 percentile.
  • SC, ST, and OBC Categories (including disabled candidates): Reduced from 40 percentile to 18.308 percentile.
  • Disabled Candidates of the Unreserved Category: Reduced from 45 percentile to 23.308 percentile.

This reduction in the cut-off percentile reflects an effort to accommodate more candidates within the qualifying range. The revised results will be released shortly.

Examination and Counseling Timeline:

  • NEET MDS 2024 Exam Date: March 18, 2024
  • Results Released By NBEMS: April 3, 2024
  • Counseling Period: July 1 to September 14, 2024
  • Start of PG Academic Session: August 1, 2024
  • Final Result of Stray Vacancy Round: Recently released with 15,487 students qualified

Counseling Details:

  • Counseling for 50% State Quota Seats: Managed by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) of DGHS, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
  • Institutional Quota: Institutional preference is given within a 50% quota. The MCC of DGHS is responsible for seat allotment.
