The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to hold its Class X and XII board exams for the 2024-25 academic session in pen-and-paper mode, beginning on February 15, 2025. This follows the trend established in recent years, where the board exams consistently start on the same date, with the only exceptions being in 2021 and 2022 due to the pandemic. The official examination schedule is expected to be released by December 2024.
As per a previous post by PTI on X, the board exams will maintain their traditional February timeline, a practice reintroduced in 2023. The 2025 exams will also feature separate date sheets for practical exams, with Class XII practicals supervised by external examiners, while Class X practicals will be conducted by schoolteachers.
For students and parents, staying informed is crucial. Once the date sheet is released, it can be easily accessed through the CBSE’s official website. Here are the steps to follow:
- Visit the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.
- Click on the link for either “CBSE 10th Date Sheet 2025” or “CBSE 12th Date Sheet 2025.”
- A PDF file containing the exam timetable will be displayed.
- Download and save the document for future reference.
Parents and students are encouraged to regularly check the CBSE website for updates and announcements regarding exam schedules to ensure proper planning and preparation. With the exams drawing closer, it’s essential to stay organized and well-prepared for the important milestone ahead.
