BIXBY, Okla. — Mickey Replogle, former principal of Bixby High School, was dismissed from his position after being arrested at a school dance on Saturday. Replogle was accused of being intoxicated and inappropriately touching students while chaperoning the fall dance at the Renaissance Hotel in Tulsa.

According to Bixby Superintendent Rob Miller, several students and adults reported Replogle’s inappropriate behavior. Following the reports, Tulsa Police launched an investigation, and Replogle was suspended from all duties.

In a statement to parents, Superintendent Miller expressed his concern over the incident, stating, “It distresses me that any child in Bixby Schools would feel unsafe or uncomfortable around any BPS employee, let alone a person in a leadership position.” He added that the district is committed to regaining trust and ensuring student safety.

Assistant Superintendent Kendall Still has been temporarily assigned to oversee Bixby High School, while the district develops a leadership transition plan.

The investigation is ongoing, and the district encourages anyone with information to contact Tulsa Police or school officials.
