The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has announced the opening of the online application process for the recruitment of Assistant Professors (college cadre) in various subjects within the Higher Education Department of Haryana. - Selection Process: The recruitment will include a screening test and a subject knowledge test. The screening test consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) worth 100 marks, to be completed in two hours. The subject knowledge test will cover 150 marks and last for three hours.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in a relevant subject from an Indian university. Candidates must also have knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit up to the Matric standard or higher education.
- Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 42 years of age as of July 15, 2024.
