The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will hold its second National Summit on “Facilitating School-to-Work Transition” in Bhubaneswar on November 21, 2024. This initiative addresses the crucial gap between academic education and the practical skills necessary for success in the workforce. School heads from CBSE-affiliated institutions are invited to engage in this significant dialogue.

As the demand for skilled professionals continues to rise across various sectors, the summit aims to better equip students for their future careers by the time they complete their education. Scheduled from 10 am to 5 pm, the day-long event will provide a platform for educators, industry leaders, and policymakers to share innovative strategies and best practices that enhance the transition from school to work.

Key areas of focus will include training educators in modern teaching methodologies and involving students in practical skill development programs. Discussions will also explore how to align educational practices with real-world demands, ensuring students are ready to enter the job market confidently.

In addition to expert presentations from prominent speakers, the summit will allow schools to showcase their successful initiatives in promoting skill-based education. The overall goal is to refine educational programs that prepare students both academically and practically for their careers.

Participation in the event is free; however, seats are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
