The Ministry of Education has issued a directive to all states and union territories to implement the “Guidelines on School Safety and Security-2021,” a framework designed to enhance the safety and well-being of students in government and private schools.
Developed by the Department of School Education and Literacy (DoSEL) in response to Supreme Court directives, these guidelines aim to establish a comprehensive safety structure for schools across India.
