The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will conduct the ICSE Class 10 exams from February 18 to March 27, 2025. The first exam will be English Language – English Paper 1, scheduled to begin at 11 AM. The exam will last for two hours. To ensure a smooth examination process, candidates must adhere to the following instructions:
1. Be on Time
Candidates must be seated in the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the exam starts.
2. Stay in the Examination Hall
Candidates are not allowed to leave the hall before the exam concludes.
3. Report Issues Immediately
If any necessary materials (e.g., maps or stationery) are missing, inform the Supervising Examiner immediately.
4. Read the Instructions
Carefully read any general instructions provided on the first page of the question paper.
5. Answer as Per Instructions
Follow the exact number of questions indicated in the question paper.
6. Provide Identification Details
Write your Unique ID, Index Number, and Subject clearly on the top-sheet of the answer booklet. Include the same details on continuation booklets, maps, and graph papers.
7. Use Black/Blue Ink
Write all answers using black or blue ink. Pencils may only be used for diagrams.
8. No Scribbling on Answer Booklet
Do not scribble on the top-sheet of the answer booklet. Signature is required in the provided space.
9. Write Neatly
Ensure neat handwriting and proper spelling. Time should be managed effectively, and avoid unnecessary information.
10. Use Correct Numbering
Clearly write the number of each question in the left-hand margin.
11. Leave a Margin
Leave a margin on both sides of each sheet. Write each new question on a separate line.
12. Bring Required Tools
Candidates may bring mathematical and drawing instruments as required for the paper. Electronic devices or calculators are strictly prohibited.
13. Rough Work
All rough work should be done on the same sheet as the main answers.
14. Submission of Answer Scripts
Once the exam concludes, candidates must organize their answer scripts in sequential order and hand them in without folding.
The CISCE has also announced that ICSE results for the 2025 session will be declared in May 2025.
