ICSE Class 10 Board Exam 2025: English Paper 2 Conducted Today

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) is conducting the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class 10 board exam for the Literature in English (English Paper 2) today, February 19, 2025. The exam commenced at 11:00 AM and will continue for two hours, with an additional 15 minutes allotted for reading the question paper.

Exam Guidelines for Students

CISCE has issued specific guidelines for candidates appearing for the examination:

  • Students must be seated in the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the exam starts.
  • Leaving the examination hall before the paper concludes is not permitted.
  • The instructions on the first page of the question paper must be read carefully, including the number of questions required to be answered.
  • Candidates must fill in their Unique ID, Index Number, and Subject on the top sheet of the main answer booklet and on all continuation sheets, maps, and graph papers.
  • Only blue or black ink is allowed for writing the answers.
  • Candidates must sign in the designated space on the top sheet of the main answer booklet.
  • Writing or scribbling anywhere else on the top sheet is strictly prohibited.
  • Unless specified otherwise in the question paper rubric, candidates should write on both sides of each sheet in the answer booklet.
  • A margin should be left on both the left and right-hand sides of the answer sheets.
  • Each answer should start on a new line, with the question number clearly mentioned in the left margin.

This year, CISCE has reinforced its rules to maintain exam integrity. Candidates are expected to adhere strictly to the guidelines to ensure smooth conduct. Any violation of the instructions may lead to disciplinary action.
