The Adani Group, a prominent ports-to-power conglomerate, has donated ₹100 crore through its corporate social responsibility arm, the Adani Foundation, to support the establishment of the Young India Skills University in Telangana. The donation was presented to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy by a delegation of Adani Group officials, led by Chairman and Managing Director Gautam Adani.
The Telangana Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) shared the news on social media, noting that the Adani Group expressed its commitment to continued collaboration with the state’s initiatives for youth skill development and empowerment. The initiative is part of Telangana’s broader efforts to enhance vocational training and equip the youth with market-relevant skills.
Gautam Adani also posted on social media platform ‘X’, stating, “Privileged to contribute to the transformative vision and inspiring leadership of Revanth Reddy with the Young India Skills University initiative. Together, we are not just shaping the future of our youth – we are unlocking the boundless potential for a brighter, more prosperous India.”

The Adani Group’s CSR initiatives extend beyond Telangana. On September 19, 2024, Gautam Adani contributed ₹25 crore to the Andhra Pradesh government to aid recovery efforts after severe floods in the state earlier in the month claimed at least 12 lives. Similarly, on July 31, 2024, the Adani Foundation donated ₹5 crore to the Kerala Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund to help those affected by landslides in Wayanad district, which resulted in around 150 deaths.
Additionally, the Adani Group organized a nationwide blood donation drive on June 24, 2024, in honor of Chairman Gautam Adani’s birthday, collecting close to 9,800 liters of blood across the country.
