The 6th International Conference on Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Leadership (ICEIL 2024) concluded successfully at Amity University, Noida, from October 9 to 11, 2024. Themed “Leveraging Emerging Technologies for a Self-Reliant Nation,” the event attracted over 10,000 participants, including academics, entrepreneurs, government officials, venture capitalists, and students.
ICEIL 2024 featured a range of activities, including 65 research paper presentations, 55 panel discussions, 54 case study teams, two symposiums, and two pre-conference workshops. The event also hosted 121 teams in the Eureka student project competition and 63 teams in the Lakshya business competition. Additionally, 50 innovative startups were showcased at the startup expo, with 300+ speakers and panelists sharing insights across various sessions.
Empowering Future Entrepreneurs
In his keynote address, Anshumaan Singh, chairman of the International Business Startup and Entrepreneurs Association (IBSEA), encouraged aspiring entrepreneurs to focus on three core principles: clarity, capability, and courage. He emphasized the importance of consistency over perfection and invited 10 Amity students to receive full support from IBSEA, from ideation to funding for their startups.
Prof. Balvinder Shukla, vice-chancellor of Amity University, Uttar Pradesh, highlighted the achievements of Amity’s alumni and urged students to lead India’s economic and scientific growth. Gaurav Dua, Global CEO of Twimbit, shared his success story, emphasizing empathy, adaptability, and innovation as key attributes for entrepreneurial success.
Valedictory Session and Awards
The valedictory session saw the conferral of the Amity Entrepreneurial/Leadership Excellence Awards-2024, honoring notable leaders such as Vikrant Rana, Vineet Vij, and Gaurav Dua, among others. Several publications, including the Start-up Expo Souvenir and Scopus Indexed Books 2024, were also released during the event.
ICEIL 2024 served as a platform to inspire and guide future entrepreneurs, fostering innovation and leadership in India’s business ecosystem.
