APSC Recruitment 2024: Enforcement Inspector (EI) Application Open

The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has announced the opening of the online application window for the position of Enforcement Inspector (EI) in the Transport Department. The application period is open until September 20, 2024. Interested candidates can apply via the official APSC website apsc.nic.in. There are a total of 27 vacancies available, with a pay scale ranging from Rs 22,000 to Rs 97,000.

How to Apply for APSC EI Recruitment 2024:

  1. Visit the official APSC website: apsc.nic.in.
  2. Navigate to the “What’s New” section and click on the link titled “Enforcement Inspector (EI) under Transport Department. (17/2024)”.
  3. Register if you have not already done so by creating an account for online recruitment.
  4. Log in using your credentials once the account is created.
  5. Complete the application form, upload all required documents, pay the application fee, and submit the form.
  6. Download and print a copy of the application form for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Residency: Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam. Proof of residency must be provided, such as a PRC issued in Assam for educational purposes or an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.
  • Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 38 years old as of January 1, 2024. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates.
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates should have either:
    • A degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce from a university recognized by the Government of Assam, or
    • An H.S.S.L.C. with a 3-year diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering from a government-recognized institute.

  • General Category: Rs 297.20
  • SC/ST/OBC/MOBC Categories: Rs 197.20
  • BPL Candidates: Rs 47.20

Important Points to Note:

  1. Document Upload: Ensure that all certificates for age, caste, and educational qualifications are uploaded to your OTR (One Time Registration) profile before filling out the application. Update your OTR profile if additional documents are needed.
  2. Date of Birth: The date of birth entered in the online application is final. Requests to change it later will not be accepted. Only the Class X/Class XII Board Exam Admit Card/Pass Certificate/Marksheet with the date of birth recorded will be accepted for age verification.
  3. Accuracy: Do not provide false information or hide important details in the application form. Avoid altering or tampering with documents. If discrepancies are found between documents, provide an explanation.
