The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is anticipated to release the date sheet for the 2025 Class 10 and 12 board exams by the last week of November. The theoretical exams for both grades are scheduled to begin on February 15, 2025, as per prior announcements, with practical exams starting from January 1, 2025.
Winter-bound schools will conduct practical exams earlier, from November 5 to December 5, 2024, while most other schools will commence on January 1. The detailed subject-wise schedule will be available soon on the official CBSE website (cbse.gov.in), where students can download it in PDF format for easy access.
This year’s board exams are set to see participation from more than 44 lakh students from around 8,000 schools in India and 26 international schools. The exams will take place on various dates between February and April for the 2024-25 academic year.
Schools will receive standard operating procedures (SOPs) from CBSE to facilitate a smooth exam administration process, ensuring adherence to guidelines. Students can also expect schools to provide finalised schedules and additional information.
