The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December 2024. The online application process began on September 17, 2024, and will continue until October 16, 2024. Candidates interested in becoming teachers for classes 1 to 8 can apply through the official CTET website: ctet.nic.in.
Exam Date:
- CTET December 2024 Exam Date: December 1, 2024
- Paper 1: 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM (for classes 1 to 5)
- Paper 2: 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM (for classes 6 to 8)
Exam Pattern:
- Both Papers: 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark.
Eligibility Criteria:
- For Paper 1 (Classes 1 to 5):
- Educational Qualification: Passed 12th grade with a minimum of 50% marks and a two-year D.El.Ed or a four-year B.El.Ed course.
- For Paper 2 (Classes 6 to 8):
- Educational Qualification: Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed or an equivalent degree.
- Age Limit: Minimum age of 18 years; no maximum age limit.
