CBSE Requests Schools to Share Feedback on 2025 Board Exams
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notice to schools, requesting them to submit observations on the Class 10 and 12 board exams for 2025. The board highlighted concerns regarding incorrect email usage, delayed submissions, and unclear feedback from schools.
CBSE Seeks Detailed Observations
Every year, CBSE asks schools to provide feedback on question papers to assess the effectiveness of exam patterns. However, the board noted that many schools have been submitting observations incorrectly. Some of the main issues identified include:
- Submission of feedback to incorrect email addresses
- Delayed submission beyond the deadline
- Vague observations such as “The question is not correct” without specific details
CBSE has urged schools to ensure timely and detailed feedback, specifying exact concerns about the question papers. This process is crucial for maintaining the quality and fairness of board exams.
CBSE’s Response to Rumors on Paper Leaks
In addition to feedback collection, CBSE has addressed concerns about misinformation spreading on social media regarding paper leaks and exam mishaps. The board has warned students and parents to rely only on official notifications and not fall for false claims.
Strict Security Measures in Place
The CBSE board exams began on February 15, 2025, with Class 10 students appearing for English and Class 12 students taking Entrepreneurship as their first paper. This year, over 42 lakh students are taking the board exams at 7,842 centers in India and abroad. To ensure a smooth and fair examination process, CBSE has implemented strict security protocols, including:
- Enhanced monitoring at exam centers
- Prevention of unfair practices
- Strict scrutiny of paper handling and distribution
CBSE continues to refine its examination process, emphasizing fairness and transparency. Schools have been asked to provide structured and precise feedback to improve future board exams.
