The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the submission window for the List of Candidates (LOC) for the 2024 Class 10 and 12 board exams will close on October 4, 2024. This process, essential for registering students for the upcoming board exams, must be completed on the official CBSE Pariksha Sangam portal.
Key Details for Schools:
- Deadline: Schools must submit the LOC by October 4, 2024, with the normal fee. After this date, schools can still submit LOCs until October 15, 2024, but a late fee will apply.
- Fees:
- For Indian students, the registration fee is ₹1500 for five subjects.
- For Nepalese students, the fee is ₹5000, and for other international students, it is ₹10,000.
- Additional subjects will incur extra fees: ₹300 for Indian students, ₹1000 for Nepalese students, and ₹2000 for other international students.
- Practical Fees for Class 12:
- Indian and Nepalese students: ₹150 per practical subject.
- International students: ₹350 per practical subject.
Consequences of Late Submission:
CBSE has warned that any delay in submitting the LOC beyond October 4 will result in a late fee of ₹2000 per candidate, applicable to all students, including those from India, Nepal, and other countries.
Schools are advised to ensure that all required data, including subject choices, are submitted accurately and within the prescribed timeline to avoid penalties. This step is crucial for students’ participation in the 2024 board examinations, and principals are urged to verify the submission process thoroughly.
