CBSE Releases CTET July 2024 Answer Key: Steps to Download and File Objections

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the answer key for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now download the answer key and, if necessary, file objections on the official website, ctet.nic.in. The CTET 2024 was conducted on July 7 in 136 cities across India, offering the test in twenty languages over two shifts.

Steps to Download CTET Answer Key 2024

    • Click on the link labeled “CTET July 2024 Answer Key.”
  3. Login:
    • Enter your application number and date of birth.
  4. Download the Answer Key:
    • Your CTET Answer Key 2024 will appear on the screen.
    • Download it in PDF format.
  5. Raise Objections:
    • If necessary, raise objections with appropriate proof.
  6. Complete the Form and Pay the Fee:
    • Fill out the objection form and pay the processing fee of Rs. 1000 per contested question (non-refundable).
  7. Print the Objection Form:
    • Print the CTET 2024 answer key objections application for future reference.

Important Notes:

  • Processing Fee: A fee of Rs. 1000 per contested question must be paid by candidates who wish to dispute the answers. This fee is non-refundable.
  • Submission Method: Challenges submitted without the fee or by any other method (such as mail, letter, or representation) will not be considered.
  • Grievance Policy: No grievances regarding the answer key will be entertained after the declaration of the CTET July 2024 result.

Post-Result Information:

Once the CTET 2024 results are declared, every applicant will receive their marksheet and eligibility certificate in electronic format on their DigiLocker accounts. These documents will be digitally signed and legally valid as per the IT Act, and will include an encrypted QR code for added security, which can be scanned and validated using the DigiLocker smartphone app.

Examination Details:

  • Papers: The CTET 2024 was divided into two parts:
    • Paper 1: For candidates aiming to teach Classes 1 through 5.
    • Paper 2: For candidates aiming to teach Classes 6 through 8.
  • Question Format: The exam consisted of 150 multiple-choice questions. Each correct answer will earn the candidate one mark, with no negative marking.

Validity and Attempts:

CTET 2024 qualifying certificates are valid for life for all categories. There is no restriction on the number of times an individual can take the CTET to obtain a certification. Qualifying candidates may retake the test to improve their scores.
