The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has set October 4, 2024, as the deadline for schools to submit the List of Candidates (LOC) for Class 10 and 12 Board examinations. This mandatory process ensures that eligible students are registered for the upcoming board exams. Schools have only a few days left to complete the submission with the normal fee.

In an earlier circular, CBSE emphasized the importance of submitting accurate student data, including the correct subjects chosen by the students. The board instructed school principals to review and confirm the submission to ensure compliance with the guidelines.

The official circular, dated September 4, 2024, outlines the requirements for schools:

  1. Accurate data submission for students.
  2. Correct subject registration for each student.
  3. Timely submission of the LOC within the specified deadline.

To assist schools, CBSE also released a set of FAQs addressing common concerns related to the LOC submission process. Adherence to these guidelines is crucial for ensuring that students are registered correctly and can appear for the 2024-2025 board exams. Only students listed through the online LOC submission process will be allowed to take the exams.
