CTET 2024: Provisional Answer Key Release Expected Soon

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is anticipated to release the provisional answer key for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 shortly. This release will also include the question papers and response sheets. Candidates who participated in the exam can download these documents by visiting the official CTET website at ctet.nic.in. The CTET 2024 exam was conducted on July 7 in 136 cities across the country.

Exam Schedule

  • Paper 2: 9:30 am to 12:00 pm
  • Paper 1: 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm

Previous Release Timeline

In the last session, the exam held on January 21 had its provisional answer key released on February 7. Following this pattern, the answer key for the July exam is expected to be released soon.

How to Download the Provisional Answer Key

  1. Visit the official website: ctet.nic.in.
  2. Click on the link for the CTET 2024 provisional answer key.
  3. Download the answer key, question papers, and response sheets.

Objection Filing

  • Fee: Rs 1,000 per objection
  • Candidates can file objections if they identify any mistakes in the provisional answer key.

Digital Marksheets and Certificates

  • All candidates will receive their marksheets and eligibility certificates in digital format via their DigiLocker accounts.
  • These documents will be digitally signed, legally valid as per the IT Act, and will include an encrypted QR code for enhanced security. The QR code can be scanned and verified using the DigiLocker mobile app.

Incident of Impersonation in Darbhanga

Earlier this month, the Bihar Police arrested 12 individuals, including two women, for allegedly impersonating candidates during the CTET 2024 exam in Darbhanga district. The Darbhanga SSP, Jagunath Reddy, reported that the impersonation was detected through biometric fingerprint scans at the examination centres.
