The Delhi government has announced significant investments in education under the 2025-26 budget, with Rs 100 crore allocated for the establishment of ‘CM Shri Schools’. CM Shri Schools: Improved Learning Facilities
- The initiative aims to provide students with modern infrastructure and better resources, ensuring a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Special focus will be placed on students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, bridging the educational gap.
Technology Integration in Education
- Free laptops will be distributed to 1,200 Class 10 students, promoting digital literacy and preparing students for a technology-driven future.
New Language Laboratories
- 100 language labs named after Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam will be introduced.
- Courses in French, German, English, and Spanish will help broaden students’ linguistic abilities and global communication skills.
Additional Education Initiatives
Education Hub in Narela
- Rs 500 crore has been allocated to develop an education hub in Narela, creating a centralized learning center for various institutions.
Startup Support Centres
- The government plans to establish startup support centers across Delhi, fostering entrepreneurship and offering financial assistance and mentorship to young innovators.
Technical Education Boost
- Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) receives Rs 230 crore to enhance technical education and job-oriented courses.
- Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) is allocated Rs 57 crore to support engineering and technology programs.
