Didac India 2024: A Showcase of Futuristic Solutions in EdTech

The 14th edition of Didac India 2024, Asia’s largest and India’s only exhibition and conference dedicated to the education and skills sector, concluded with a spectacular display of innovative solutions. The event showcased over 5,000 EdTech products and innovations from more than 20 countries, highlighting a commitment to revolutionizing education. Indian educators are set to acquire over 1,000 advanced AI-powered products aimed at transforming the education and skill development landscape.

Organized by Messe Stuttgart India in collaboration with the India Didactics Association, the event took place over three days at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi. It featured prominent companies from both domestic and international markets, including Roombr, Microsoft, HP, Samsung, LG, BenQ, UpGrad, Teachmint, Viewsonic, and Philips. Innovations in AI, educational technology, drones, IoT, robotics, AV equipment, lab tools, infrastructure, and AR/VR solutions were prominently displayed. International pavilions representing countries such as Germany, Australia, Finland, the UK, Japan, and Singapore added to the event’s global appeal.

Roombr made headlines with the launch of its groundbreaking Roombr Digital Classroom, touted as the world’s first patented digital classroom solution, with an ambitious goal to impact one million classrooms by 2026. Vex Robotics, the leading educational robotics company, introduced two new products: VEX EXP, a metallic robot for classroom use, and VEX IQ, designed specifically for younger students. They also showcased VEX CTE for career and technical education and VEX AIR, an educational drone set for release next year. Their VEX Code VR software allows users to code and control robots in a virtual environment, accessible globally at no cost.

MAXHUB unveiled the UC P30, an AI-powered 4K dual-eye PTZ camera that allows users to establish personalized surveillance zones, enhancing video conferencing experiences. AcadAlly introduced LEAP, an AI-driven diagnostic and adaptive assessment platform that analyzes learning patterns, identifies gaps, and provides tailored solutions, thereby enabling teachers to save time on administrative tasks and helping schools make real-time, proactive decisions.

Edutech India presented a variety of lab solutions, including the Stem Car, Edutech Pixkit—an open-source development kit for autonomous driving—and other innovations such as autonomous drones, AI in cobots, and humanoid robots like NAO and Pepper. Additionally, Lost in Time (LIT) launched an AI-powered automated media-sharing app featuring selfie scanning, instant photo sharing, social branding, and secure storage.

Didac India 2024 served as a pivotal platform for showcasing the future of education technology, driving innovation and collaboration across the sector.
