Disha, an initiative managed by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, recently hosted its third Annual Academic Excellence Awards Ceremony. The event took place on Wednesday, focusing on recognizing the dedication and achievements of high-performing Class X students from nearly 100 schools, as well as their mentors and principals.
The awards ceremony served not only to commend the students for their hard work and resilience but also to highlight the significant role of mentorship and guidance from their educators. Cultural performances by students from Innocent Hearts College added a celebratory touch to the event.
Prominent figures at the awards included Rajesh Jain, chairman of NVR Overseas; VK Sareen, executive director at Punjab Housing Finance and former vice-principal of DAV College; Dr. Rohan Bowry, director at Innocent Hearts Eye Care Centre; and Palak Gupta Bowry, director of CSR. Anup Bowry, chairman of the Innocent Hearts Group, also graced the event. The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome by Rahul Jain, director of operations at IHGI, and Gagandeep Kaur Dhanju, director of academics at IHGI, who greeted the principals, teachers, and students in attendance.
