Witnesses reported hearing a loud bang, followed by a cloud of smoke rising from the site. A local resident shared, “I was at home. I heard a loud sound, saw a cloud of smoke, and recorded the video. I do not know anything more.” In response to the explosion, police teams and ambulances were dispatched to the area. Senior police officer Amit Goel confirmed that forensic experts have been called in to determine the cause of the blast.
In a statement, the Delhi Police reported that windows of nearby vehicles were shattered, and shop signboards were damaged. “Today at 07:47 hrs, a PCR call was received regarding a loud explosion near the CRPF school in Sector 14, Rohini,” the police stated. They added, “The glasses of nearby shops and cars parked near the school were found to be damaged. No one was injured.”

The police are currently examining the underground sewage line as part of their investigation.
