Suggestions Portal to Launch on Vivekananda Jayanti
A key initiative includes the launch of a dedicated portal at Kurukshetra University on January 12, Vivekananda Jayanti. This portal will enable universities, colleges, schools, educationists, and students to provide suggestions to improve the policy’s implementation.
- Physical and Digital Feedback Channels:
- Suggestion Boxes: To be installed at universities and colleges for offline feedback.
- Online Portal: Accessible to students and stakeholders for submitting suggestions remotely.
Stakeholder Meetings and Round Table Conferences
The minister highlighted ongoing efforts to involve educational institutions in the NEP’s execution:
- Recent Meeting in Gurugram:
- Held at Government Girls College, Gurugram.
- Attended by principals from 74 government colleges in Gurugram division and 33 colleges in Faridabad division.
- National Round Table Conference:
- Scheduled for February, to discuss the policy framework on a broader scale.
Preparing for the Upcoming Academic Session
Dhanda emphasized that the suggestions gathered would be used to draft a comprehensive framework, addressing potential challenges faced by students during the next academic session. The approach aims to ensure:
