ICSE Class 10 Board Exams 2025 Start with English Paper 1
The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class 10 board exams 2025, conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE), begin today, February 18, with the English Language (English Paper 1) exam.
The exam will commence at 11:00 AM and last for two hours. Students will be given an additional 15 minutes for reading the question paper before writing their answers.
Exam Day Guidelines for ICSE Students
CISCE has issued several important instructions for students appearing in the board exams:
- Reporting Time: Candidates must be seated in the examination hall 30 minutes before the exam starts.
- Exit Rule: Students can leave the examination hall only after the exam concludes.
- Question Paper Instructions: Students must carefully read the first page of the question paper to understand the number of questions to be attempted. Answering additional questions beyond the specified limit is not allowed.
Answer Booklet Instructions
- Candidates must write their Unique ID, Index Number, and Subject on the top sheet of the main answer booklet.
- The same details should be mentioned on continuation booklets, loose maps, graph papers, etc.
- Only blue or black ink is permitted for writing answers.
- Students must sign in the designated space on the top sheet of the answer booklet. Scribbling on the top sheet is not allowed.
- Answers must be written on both sides of each sheet, unless specified otherwise.
- A margin must be left on both sides of the answer booklet.
- Each answer must begin on a new line, and the question number should be written clearly in the left-hand margin.
