If you aspired to study at IIT after Class 12 but didn’t get the chance, now is your opportunity. The Department of Management Studies (DoMS) at IIT-Madras is inviting applications for its Executive MBA (EMBA) program, designed specifically for mid-career professionals.
This two-year degree program, commencing in January 2025, offers classes on alternate weekends (Saturday-Sunday), making it ideal for working individuals seeking to enhance their management skills and leadership capabilities without disrupting their professional commitments.
Admission Requirements
Candidates do not need to take the CAT exam for admission. However, they must possess a graduation degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates). Additionally, applicants should have at least three years of work experience after their undergraduate degree by December 31, 2024.
Key Dates and Selection Process
The application deadline for this program is October 20, 2024. Interested candidates can register at doms.iitm.ac.in/admission. Selected candidates will be required to complete a written aptitude test and a personal interview conducted on the IIT-Madras campus. The written examination will take place on November 8, 9, and 10, 2024, assessing professional skills, logical reasoning, quantitative ability, and verbal aptitude.
Results will be announced in December 2024, with classes beginning in January 2025.
