The Institute of Secretariat Training and Management (ISTM) and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) recently organized a two-day certification course for CBSE-nominated resource persons at National Model Senior Secondary School. The program aimed to strengthen the training and instructional skills of educators, aligning with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The event was attended by Arunima Mazumdar, Joint Secretary and Head of CBSE’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) Chennai, and Geetha Lakshman, Principal of National Model Senior Secondary School, who served as the venue host. Key speakers included Moloy Sanyal, Director (DoPT), ISTM; Sunil Dhapte, Director of OmMita Consultancy LLP; and Joji Paul, Principal of Benchmark International School, Tirur. These experts provided in-depth knowledge and training to the participants.
The course was designed to equip resource persons with the skills necessary to create and deliver training programs that support the implementation of NEP 2020. It also focused on ensuring that educators are well-prepared to contribute to the reforms outlined in the policy.
