Important Dates and Procedures:
- Objections Submission Deadline: Candidates can raise objections to the provisional allotment by sending their concerns with justification to keaauthority-ka@nic.in by August 30, 2024. The final seat allotment results will be updated after addressing these objections.
How to Check KCET Round 1 Seat Allotment:
- Visit the official KCET website: cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
- Click on the “Admissions for KCET” tab.
- Log in using your CET number and view the provisional allotment result.
- Download the seat allotment details for your reference.
Key Rules for KCET Round 1 Seat Allotment:
- Provisional Status: The seat allotment is provisional. Do not report to the assigned colleges until the final allotment is confirmed.
- Objection Process: Submit any objections to the provisional allotment via email by noon on August 30, 2024. Objections will not be accepted after this deadline.
- Final Allocation: The final seat allocation will be announced after reviewing all objections.
- Mock Seat Allocation: Results for the mock seat allocation for Round 2 were released on August 25, 2024. The mock seat allocation for Round 1 was available earlier on August 10, 2024.
- Preference Entry: Seat distribution considers KCET 2024 ranks, preferences, and available seats.
- Additional Procedures: After the final allotment results, complete all admission procedures and report to the assigned colleges with the required documentation.
The seat allotment process includes various courses such as engineering, architecture, veterinary medicine, farm science, yoga, naturopathy, nursing, pharmacy, medical, dentistry, and AYUSH.
