The KLH Bachupally campus of KL Deemed to be University is proud to announce the remarkable achievement of two of its first-year B.Tech Computer Science & Engineering students, Praneeth Kilari and Virinchi Deevi. These students have successfully completed the prestigious International Geospatial Data Analytics Program at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand. This program, which focuses on an AI Boot Camp with AI*CSII Remote Sensing & GIS, is part of an ongoing collaboration under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between KL Deemed to be University and AIT.
Praneeth Kilari distinguished himself in the program by specializing in High-Performance Computing, mastering advanced techniques such as MPI, OpenMP, CUDA, and Hadoop. His notable experience includes working as a member of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory at NASA JPL. Here, he collaborated with a team of experts and researchers on developing and testing innovative solutions for space exploration and planetary science using AI. His contributions to significant projects like the Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover and the Europa Clipper Mission underscore the practical impact and global reach of his education. Praneeth has also been awarded the International Cyber Fair Platinum Award and the Qualified Python Programmer certificate, achievements he attributes to the dedication and mentoring he received from his faculty.
Virinchi Deevi expressed heartfelt gratitude towards the faculty for their unwavering support and guidance. He highlighted the invaluable international exposure provided by the program, which has ignited his passion for exploring cybersecurity measures against crypto hacks.
