MHT CET Counselling 2024 Registration Deadline Extended

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has announced an extension for the online registration process for the MHT CET Counselling 2024. Candidates seeking admission to Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) courses now have until Sunday, July 28, 2024, up to 5 pm to complete their registration.

Initially, the registration was scheduled to end on July 24, 2024. Applicants can register for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2024 by visiting the official website at fe2024.mahacet.org. Note that applications submitted after July 28, 2024, will only be considered for non-CAP seats. The document verification process, including E-Scrutiny and physical scrutiny, will continue until July 29, 2024.

“Registration of application form date is extended till 28/07/2024 5:00 pm and verification of application form is extended till 29/07/2024 5:00 pm,” states the official notice on the website.

Steps to Register for BE/BTech Courses

    • On the homepage, click on the link that says, ‘New Registration’.
  3. Register:
    • Complete the registration process by providing the required details.
  4. Fill Out the Application Form:
    • Proceed to fill out the MHT CET Counselling 2024 application form.
  5. Pay the Application Fee:
    • Pay the mandatory application fee to finalize the process.
  6. Submit the Form:
    • Double-check all details and submit the form.
  7. Save the Acknowledgment:
    • Download and save the acknowledgment form for future reference.

Key Dates and Details

  • Provisional Merit List:
    • The provisional merit list for Maharashtra and All-India applicants will be available on the official website on July 31, 2024.
  • Grievance Filing:
    • Candidates can file grievances from August 1 to August 3, 2024.
  • Final Merit List:
    • The final merit lists for Maharashtra State and All-India candidates will be released on August 6, 2024.

Merit List Criteria

The merit list will be generated based on the MHT CET score, marks obtained in the qualifying examination, or any other criteria specified in sub-rule (3) of the applicable rule, as detailed in the information bulletin.
