NCET 2024 Final Answer Key Released

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final answer key for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can access the final answer key on the official website at ncet.samarth.ac.in. The NCET was conducted on July 10, and the provisional answer key was released on July 30. Candidates had until July 31 to raise objections against the provisional key, with a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 per question. The results are expected to be released soon.

How to Download the NCET 2024 Final Answer Key

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to ncet.samarth.ac.in.
  2. Find the Answer Key Link: In the ‘Public Notice’ section, click on the link labeled “Display of Final Answer Key For The National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2024.”
  3. Open the PDF: The final answer key will open in PDF format on a new screen.
  4. Review and Download: Review the answer key and download it for future reference.
  5. Print a Copy: Take a printout of the answer key if needed.

NCET 2024 Exam Pattern

  • Subjects: The exam included 66 subjects, divided into 38 languages, 26 domain subjects, a General Test, and a Teaching Aptitude Test.
  • Selection: Candidates selected and completed 7 subjects: 2 languages, 3 domain subjects, 1 General Test, and 1 Teaching Aptitude Test.

Breakdown of Sections:

  • Language: Covered Reading Comprehension, Literary Aptitude, and Vocabulary.
  • General Test: Included General Knowledge, General Mental Ability, Current Affairs, Quantitative Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and Logical and Analytical Reasoning.
  • Domain Subject: Based on the Class 12 syllabus.
  • Teaching Aptitude: Topics related to the teaching of Arts, Science, Performing Arts, Mathematics, Languages, etc.

Statistics

  • Registered Candidates: Approximately 40,233.
  • Candidates Who Took the Exam: About 29,000.
  • Exam Centers: 292 centers in approximately 160 cities nationwide.

The NCET is conducted for admissions to the 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) at various Central and State Universities, including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges for the 2024-25 academic session.
