NEET PG 2024 Counselling: Key Details and Process Overview

The NEET PG 2024 counselling process is expected to begin in the second week of September. Candidates who wish to participate will need to register on the official Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) website using their registered email ID and mobile number.

Important Details:

  • Registration: Candidates must visit the MCC website to register.
  • Counselling Rounds: The process includes four rounds, followed by a mop-up and stray vacancy round.
  • Seat Allotment: MCC will release a seat allotment result PDF based on the availability of seats in colleges and the choices filled by candidates.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Qualifying Cut-off: Candidates must score equal to or above the qualifying cut-off to participate in the counselling.
    • General Category: Qualifying percentile is 50, and the qualifying score is 290.
    • GN PwD Category: Qualifying percentile is 45, and the qualifying score is 274.
    • SC/ST/PwD Category: Qualifying percentile is 45.

Choice-Filling Process:

  • Preference Ranking: Candidates will need to select and rank their preferred courses and colleges during the choice-filling process.
  • Seat Allotment: Seats will be allotted based on NEET PG scores, ranks, and the availability of seats.

Post Seat Allotment:

  • Reporting: After seat allotment, candidates must report to the respective colleges within the specified dates to complete the admission process, including document verification.
  • Document Verification: Candidates should bring all necessary documents for verification during the admission process.
