Communication of Test City
- Method: Candidates will receive their test city allotment details via their registered email IDs.
- Website Availability: The details will not be available on the official exam website natboard.edu.in.
Test City Allocation Process
- Choice Submission: Candidates were asked to choose four preferred test cities from a list of 185 cities.
- Allocation Method: Test city allocation will be done randomly from the choices provided, and the four choices are not considered as an order of preference.
- Capacity Issues: If a candidate’s state/UT has less than four available test cities or the demand exceeds capacity, candidates will be offered choices from nearby states/UTs.
Additional Allocation Guidelines
- Nearest Available Locations: Candidates will be allocated a test center in one of the nearest available locations within their state of correspondence address or in nearby states/UTs.
- Random Allocation: If no test center is available within the state of correspondence address or nearby states, a test center will be allocated in any part of the country based on availability.
- No Preferences Provided: Candidates who did not provide any preferences will be allocated a test center anywhere in the country as per availability.
Background Information
- Original Exam Date: NEET PG 2024 was originally scheduled for June 23, 2024, but was rescheduled by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) as a precautionary measure.
Candidates are advised to check their registered email IDs on July 31, 2024, for their test city allotment details and to download their admit cards from August 8, 2024, for the exam on August 11, 2024.
