The National Board of Examinations in Medical Science (NBEMS) has announced that the test city selection window for NEET PG 2024 will open today, July 19. Candidates are required to select their preferred test cities again, as the previously issued admit cards with exam city information are now invalid. The updated test city selection process will be available until July 22.

Key Points:

  • Test City Selection Window:
    • Start Date: July 19, 2024
    • End Date: July 22, 2024 (11:55 PM)
    • Website for Selection: natboard.edu.in
  • Admit Card and Test City Allocation:
    • Admit Card Release Date: August 8, 2024
    • Test Cities Notification: July 29, 2024 (sent to registered email IDs)
    • Test Date: August 11, 2024 (rescheduled from June 23, 2024)
    • Cut-Off Date for Eligibility: August 15, 2024

Selection Process:

  • Candidates must provide four preferred test cities from the list available on the official website.
  • If fewer than four test cities are available in the candidate’s state or if demand exceeds capacity, options from nearby states or UTs will be offered.
  • Test city allocation will be done randomly from the provided choices, and these choices are not ranked in preference order.
  • If a preferred test city is not available due to overcapacity, logistical issues, or other reasons, candidates will be assigned to the nearest available test city within their state or nearby states/UTs.
  • Candidates who do not select any preferences during this window will be allocated a test center randomly by NBEMS.

Candidates are advised to promptly select their preferred test cities to ensure their preferences are considered and avoid being assigned a test center far from their location.
