Counselling Schedule and Process:
- Counselling Rounds: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct four rounds of online counselling for the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other undergraduate medical courses.
- Seat Allocation: The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will manage counselling for over 15% of AIQ seats, as well as for seats in deemed universities, central universities, ESIC, and AFMC.
- Seat Availability:
- MBBS: 1,17,000 seats
- AYUSH: 52,700 seats
- BDS: 27,000 seats
- AIIMS: 1,900 seats
- JIPMER: 250 seats
State Quota Seats:
- State Counselling Bodies: The allocation of state quota seats and other processes will be managed by respective state counselling bodies.
- AYUSH Courses: Counselling for BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, and BHMS courses under NCISM and NCH will be conducted by the All-India Ayush Central Counselling Committee (AACCC).
Revised NEET UG 2024 Results:
- Revised Scorecards: The revised results were released following a Supreme Court order on July 23, 2024. Candidates can view and download their latest scorecards from the NTA’s official website https://exams.nta.ac.in/.
- Download Information: Candidates need their application number, date of birth, registered email address, or registered mobile number to access their scorecards.
- Top Scorers: The number of top scorers was adjusted from 67 to 17 due to grace marks given for a contentious physics question and tardiness in the exam.
Exam Details:
- Exam Date: NEET UG 2024 was held on May 5, 2024.
- Exam Centres: The exam took place in 4,750 centres across 571 cities in India and 14 cities abroad.
- Controversy: The initial large number of top scorers was a result of grace marks given to 44 candidates for the physics question and six for tardiness.
