The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released the schedule for the preliminary examination for the recruitment of Group-B and Group-Specialist Posts/Services under the Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination (CGLRE) 2023. The preliminary exam is set for August 4, from 10 AM to 12 PM.
Exam Details
- Date and Time: August 4, 10 AM to 12 PM
- Mode: Single sitting using OMR mode
- Locations: 30 centers across Odisha
- Questions: 150 questions
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer
How to Download Admission Letters
Candidates can download their admission letters starting from July 25 by following these steps:
- Visit the OSSC Official Website: Go to ossc.gov.in.
- Find the Relevant Link: Under the “What’s New” section, click on “Download the admission letter for the preliminary exam of CGLRE Specialist Posts/Services-2023.”
- Log In: Enter your login details and click on “Submit.”
- Download Admission Letter: Check the details carefully and download the admission letter.
- Print Admission Letter: Take a hard copy of the admission letter for future use.
Special Instructions for PwD Candidates
PwD candidates with at least 40% disability who have applied for a scribe must submit their request in the prescribed format along with the required documents via email to orissassc@gmail.com by July 30. Requests received after this date will not be considered. Candidates without prior permission will not be allowed to use a scribe in the examination.
OSSC CGL Prelims Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
- Prelims Exam: Candidates who pass the prelims will be eligible for the Mains.
- Mains Exam: Scheduled for December, consisting of two papers, each worth 100 marks.
- Skill Test: Followed by the Mains exam.
- Document Verification: Final step to verify the candidates’ identity.
