The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released the provisional answer key for the Combined Recruitment Examination (CRE) Mains 2023. Candidates who appeared for the examination can download the provisional answer key from the official website at ossc.gov.in by entering their login credentials such as username, mobile number, and password or OTP. The deadline to raise objections is August 8. The provisional answer key will help candidates estimate their scores.

The OSSC CRE Mains recruitment exam aims to fill a total of 381 vacancies for various posts, including Junior Mining Officer, Tracer, and Junior MVI.

  • Re-evaluation Registration: Registrations for re-evaluation will be accepted starting August 20, with a fee of Rs. 100 per question.

  • Examination Details: The OSSC CRE Mains exam included 100 questions, with 2 marks awarded for each correct answer and a deduction of 0.5 marks for each wrong attempt.

The OSSC has advised candidates that the merit of objections is evaluated independently, and the number of candidates submitting similar objections does not influence the outcome. Therefore, if a candidate has already filed an objection, it is unnecessary for others to submit the same objection unless new facts or arguments are presented.
