Oxford Business School has claimed the top spot globally, advancing from third place in the latest Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Global Executive MBA Rankings 2024. This prestigious ranking evaluates 194 Executive MBA programs across 45 countries and territories worldwide.
In a notable achievement for India, the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM B) secured the 41st position globally and ranked eighth in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. Among the Indian institutions featured, the Indian School of Business (ISB) secured a position in the 101-110 category, while the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM K) ranked in the 171-180 category.
This year’s rankings marked the debut of three Indian business schools: Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad; Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore); and Woxsen School of Business. IMT Ghaziabad notably achieved the 9th position in the career outcomes category.
IIM Bangalore’s rise in the rankings can be attributed to its strong reputation among international employers and impressive career outcomes, leading to an ascent from the 43rd to the 41st position globally. Specifically, IIM B ranked 30th in employer reputation and 51st in thought leadership.
Further, ISB secured the 71st position in the executive profile category, while Woxsen School of Business achieved the 80th rank in diversity indicators.
The QS Global Executive MBA Rankings 2024 highlight the global competitiveness and excellence of Indian business schools, underscoring their significant contributions to executive education and leadership development.
