The Sanyukt Abhibhavak Sangh, a parents’ association in Rajasthan, has urged the education department to take strict action against private schools withholding admit cards for board exams over unpaid fees.

According to Abhishek Jain Bittu, the association’s state spokesperson, they have received multiple complaints from parents since Thursday evening. “Several students were denied admit cards, preventing them from appearing for their exams. We have formally written to the education director and the district education officer, demanding immediate intervention,” he stated.

Concerns Over Students’ Future

The association raised concerns that withholding admit cards could waste an entire academic year for students and severely impact their future prospects. The CBSE board exams begin on Saturday, making it crucial to resolve the issue immediately.

The district education officer has assured the association that steps are being taken to address the matter. However, the secondary education officer in Jaipur was unavailable for comment.

Parents are calling for strict enforcement of rules to ensure that no student is deprived of their right to education due to financial constraints.
