The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced the RBI Grade B Notification 2024 for the recruitment of 94 positions. Registrations began on July 25, 2024, and will continue until August 16, 2024. Interested candidates can submit their applications through the official RBI website at rbi.org.in.

How to Apply for RBI Grade B Recruitment 2024

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to rbi.org.in.
  2. Locate the Recruitment Link: On the home page, look for the link that reads “Direct recruitment for the post of officers in grade B.”
  3. Online Application: Click on the ‘Online application’ link.
  4. Register: Register yourself by providing the required details.
  5. Fill Out the Application: Complete the form with personal details, educational qualifications, and other necessary information.
  6. Pay the Application Fee: Pay the application fee through the online payment mode.
  7. Submit and Print: Submit the application and take a printout for future reference.

Application Fees

  • SC, ST, and PWD categories: Rs 100 + 18% GST
  • General, OBC, and EWS categories: Rs 850 + 18% GST

Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: Candidates should have a graduation degree in any discipline or an equivalent technical/professional qualification with a minimum of 60% marks (50% for backward classes) or a post-graduation degree in any discipline with a minimum of 55% in aggregate.
  • Age: Candidates must be between 21 and 30 years of age as of July 1, 2024. There are relaxations on the upper age limit for backward classes according to government norms.

Selection Process

The selection process for RBI Grade B officers includes three phases:

  1. Phase I – Preliminary Examination: An objective-type exam testing general awareness, quantitative aptitude, reasoning, and English language skills.
  2. Phase II – Main Examination: Includes both objective and descriptive papers related to Economic and Social Issues, English Writing Skills, and Finance and Management.
  3. Phase III – Interview: Candidates who clear the main examination are called for an interview to assess their overall suitability for the role, including their knowledge, communication skills, and personality.

Examination Schedule

  • Phase I and Phase II Examinations: The exams will be held in September and October 2024.
