The National Law University (NLU), Delhi has announced changes to the eligibility criteria for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2025. Key revisions include a reduction in the qualifying percentage for specific programs:
Revised Eligibility Criteria:
- LLM (One Year, Non-Residential Program):
- Eligibility: LLB or equivalent law degree with 50% marks.
- SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities: Minimum passing percentage is 45%.
- Previous Requirement: 55% for UR candidates and 50% for reserved categories.
- Joint Post Graduate/LLM in Intellectual Property Law and Management:
- Eligibility: Completion of LLB or equivalent degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Candidates who are appearing for the annual examination of LLB in 2025 are also eligible to apply for AILET 2025.
Other Details:
- The other eligibility criteria for admission to LLM programs remain unchanged.
- Application Period: Applications for AILET 2025 started on August 1 and will continue until November 18.

- Sections: English, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, and Logical Reasoning
- Total Questions: 150
- Scoring: 1 mark for each correct answer; 0.25 mark deduction for incorrect answers.
