The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced some significant updates regarding the 2024 recruitment cycle:
1. Cancelled Recruitment Posts:
- Selection Post Recruitment Phases 10 and 12: Recruitment for several positions, including Upper Divisional Clerk/Sub Officer Cadre under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, has been cancelled.
- Field Officer (Code NR13524): Recruitment for three vacancies in the Directorate of Health Services has been cancelled.
- Nursing Officer (Code NR18722): Two posts under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare have been cancelled due to administrative reasons.

2. SSC Vacancy 2024:
- The recruitment exam for SSC was conducted on June 20, 21, 25, and 26, 2024. A total of 355,541 candidates from UP and Bihar participated.
- 10th Pass Candidates: 164,705
- 12th Pass Candidates: 90,200
- Graduate Candidates: 100,636
3. SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2024:
- Application Deadline: August 17, 2024
- Examination Period: October–November 2024
Eligibility Criteria:
- Age Limit: 18 to 30 years as of August 1, 2024
- Educational Qualification: Must have passed 12th grade from a recognized board/institution
