Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2024 Stray Round Counselling Registration Closes Today

The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) in Chennai will conclude the registration process for the Tamil Nadu National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2024 counselling stray vacancy round today, October 28. Candidates seeking admission to MBBS/BDS courses in Tamil Nadu’s government dental colleges, as well as government and management quota seats (including minority and NRI lapsed) in self-financing medical/dental colleges and state private universities, can register by visiting the official website – tnmedicalselection.net until 5 PM today.

Application Fee

Candidates who have not previously registered for the online choice filling for MBBS/BDS degree courses must remit a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 500 for the government quota and Rs. 1,000 for the management quota. However, candidates who participated and paid their registration fee in earlier rounds but were not allotted any MBBS/BDS seats (i.e., Round 1, Round 2, or Mop-Up) do not need to pay the registration fee again.

Steps to Apply for Tamil Nadu NEET UG Stray Round Counselling 2024

  1. Visit the official website: tnmedicalselection.net
  2. On the homepage, click on the link titled “STRAY ROUND ONLINE COUNSELLING OF MBBS/BDS COURSE” under the UG Courses tab.
  3. Register using your email address and mobile number.
  4. Once registered, log in to your account and fill out the application form for Tamil Nadu NEET UG Stray Round Counselling 2024.
  5. Pay the application fee and submit the form.
  6. Complete the choice-filling process and download the application form.

Important Dates

According to the official schedule, the Tamil Nadu NEET stray vacancy seat allotment results will be announced on October 29, 2024. Candidates who are allotted seats in this stray round of counselling will be required to report to the assigned colleges by November 5. The allotment letter will be available for download from October 29 to November 5, 2025.

Candidates should prepare the following documents for submission:

  • NEET Admit Card 2024
  • NEET Scorecard 2024
  • Class 10 marksheet (both sides of the certificate)
  • Class 11 marksheet (both sides of the certificate)
  • H.S.C. marksheet (both sides of the marksheet) or any other equivalent examination
  • Transfer certificate obtained after the completion of H.S.C. or equivalent courses
  • Certificate for proof of study from Class VI to XII for candidates who studied completely in Tamil Nadu
  • Community Certificate
  • Nativity Certificate (if applicable)
  • Reservation Certificate (if applicable)
  • Income Certificate
