Candidates qualified for NEET-PG 2024 or NEET-MDS 2024 who have not yet registered can complete the process through the official website: upneet.gov.in. The registration window remains open until 5 PM today.
Steps to Apply for UP NEET PG Counselling 2024:
- Visit the official website: upneet.gov.in.
- Click on the link for ‘UP NEET PG Counselling 2024 Registration Round 1’.
- Log in using your credentials.
- Select your course, enter your roll number and date of birth, then submit.
- Upload the required documents and submit the form.
- Print the confirmation page for future reference.
Registration Fee:
- A non-refundable registration fee of ₹3,000 is required, applicable to all categories.
- This fee covers all three counselling rounds, though a fresh payment of ₹2,000 will be required for the stray vacancy round.
Counselling and Seat Allotment:
The NEET PG Counselling process involves multiple rounds, including a stray vacancy round. After the registration period, DMET will release merit lists for qualified candidates based on their All-India NEET rank. The merit list for DNB/MDS candidates will be purely rank-based, while MD/MS/Diploma candidates will also receive weightage for In-Service (PMHS) experience, as per the July 9, 2024 government order.
After choice filling, the seat allotment results will be published. Candidates must report to their allocated institutions within the given timeframe to confirm their seats. Failure to do so may result in seat forfeiture.
