The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the results for the Combined Medical Services Examination (CMSE) 2024. Examination Details

The Combined Medical Services (CMS) test 2024 was held on July 14, 2024. The examination process is divided into two parts:

  1. Written Exam: Worth 500 marks, split into two papers, each carrying a maximum score of 250 marks.
  2. Personality Test: Worth 100 marks, conducted for candidates who pass the written exam.

How to Check UPSC CMS 2024 Result?

Follow these steps to check your results:

  1. Visit the official website: upsc.gov.in.
  2. Navigate to the “Results” tab from the homepage.
  3. Find the link labeled “Combined Medical Services Examination (CMSE) 2024” in the results list.
  4. Click the link to view your UPSC CMS result. The roll numbers of the qualified candidates will be listed in the PDF.
  5. Use the ‘Find’ feature (Ctrl+F or Command+F) to search for your roll number.
  6. Save the CMS result in PDF format for future reference.

Post-Result Procedure

  • Mark Sheets: After the final results are announced, the mark sheets of candidates who were not selected will be available on the UPSC website. These results will be accessible for thirty days. During this period, candidates can request printed copies of their mark sheets by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope.
  • Detailed Application Form (D.A.F.): Candidates who qualify for the Interview/Personality Test need to fill out the online Detailed Application Form (D.A.F.) and submit it.
  • Document Verification: During the interview/personality test, candidates must provide original certificates of their age, educational background, community reservation status, and handicap status if applicable. Candidates should prepare these documents ahead of time and refer to the Commission’s website for comprehensive guidelines.

Important Reminders

  • Candidates are advised to ensure they have sufficient evidence of their qualifications.
  • Carefully review the requirements for the Detailed Application Form (DAF) submission.
  • Candidates failing to provide the necessary documentation will be disqualified from the Personality Test and will not receive any reimbursement for travel expenses.
