Details of the Allegations:

  • Company’s Promises: Asian Enterprises, established four months ago in the Sadar Bazaar police station area, reportedly promised job opportunities and charged a registration fee of Rs 2,400 from each participant. The company provided 1 kilogram of wool, which was used to create flower-shaped items.
  • Recruitment Scheme: Participants were encouraged to recruit additional women, earning a commission of Rs 400 for each new recruit. Approximately 5,000 women joined the company within four months.
  • Company’s Closure: The company abruptly shut down its office and disappeared late Monday night, leaving many women without the promised employment or recourse for their invested money.
